Laghi di Cheggio e Antrona
Cheggio : dato che quest’anno non ne ho visti abbastanza, domenica scorsa 23 settembre ho deciso di approffittare del bel tempo di fine settembre per fare una puntatina al Lago di Cheggio. Il giro è subito organizzato , telefonata alla morosa, orario concordato, futuro suocero subito pronto con casco in testa e partiamo per un tranquillo pomeriggio alla volta della Valle Antrona. Lasciataci alle spalle la noiosa superstrada, da Villadossola cominciamo a salire fino ai 1000 metri del paesino di Antrona Piana e poi su su ai 1500 metri del Lago di Cheggio, affrontando una strada non proprio agevole, sia per condizioni dell’asfalto sia per larghezza della carreggiata. Il lago non è molto grosso, ha un colore verde smeraldo (sembra quasi colorato con gli acquerelli)….interessante dal punto di vista strutturale la diga con struttura massiccia!
Scendendo seguiamo le indicazioni per il lago di Antrona, che si rivela essere poi una pozzanghera non così particolarmente degna di essere visitata. Ormai sono già le 17.00 e ritorniamo all’ovile passando per il lago di Mergozzo e il nostro lago Maggiore (che per me è sempre e comunque il più bello).
